We actually have a very strong faculty. We are a large size and we cover many different areas of IS. We have actually a very productive faculty. Some very well known faculty in our community and in our display. We cover technical areas and we cover behavioral areas. If you come here we are more likely let you to have a father Professor like figure. I was in top rank business school but I believed that Iowa State University is one of the strongest universities in our country. We are getting better. So I hope you can think of applying to our University.

My research interests are really very broad. In terms of research topics and the methodology for example I have done research on consumer analytics and quality and database management, product difference, economic IT in different platforms. I use a variety of methodological credentials like operations research, computer science, machine learning it now makes different models and econometrics. My major research projects, I am currently working with my colleagues this is something we are trying to examine how the data on zero which is a real actual platform. That affects the real estate transactions that are completely offline. We collect data from zero and then we do some analysis. We found that the amount of information provided about the paths in zero indeed has an important factor. For example we found that the number of features about the house on zero and the length of the description about the property will have a positive impact on price. So in other words, if you write a longer description can get a higher price. We'll find that the impact of AI information is the larger for and common properties here common means the house price similar to the average in the neighborhood so this is the one project. I was working on the digital policy project. Where we basically update it. We give a digital process model and we find some threat holes in the model and some predetermined in holes.

I get my ideas from number different sources for example by reading others research articles, by reading from popular press articles, through discussion with the with the college students, it comes from different sources but usually in a term paper Simon, I use myself as an example I had five papers by the time of my second summer of IT program three of those are term papers so the results in the classes, professors ask us to provide term papers and it would be worth reading again I work hard and that we'll do this term papers even for all this term papers with publishing top tenors so I do not miss a single term people so people attempt term papers very seriously and do not miss them but I do evaluate to research paper’s potential before I decide to pursue it, if I do not see enough contribution I would not waste my time on it so one other factor that I consider, of course I have to see the how unique the idea is, how much had been done in the literature, how deep the project is or do I have the required skill set, if not how long will it take for me to acquire the skill set or can I find some people that I knew that have this skill that I can invite to offer. I think if our newsflash that how it is not very feasible, I do not pursue it, for my own project. For my students I change a little bit, because for students they have the time to acquire the skillset, it's more about the potential, sometimes the weather finds it somewhat to help the student if I do not have the skills. These are the things I consider before starting a project.
