Well, um, so I have had many different careers, uh, in my journeys so far, and I don't know yet. Um, but I, uh, on undergraduate perspective, I got my degree in economics from Duke University and a master in health care of integration. So I started my career, uh, cure executive on and then I need really was always very passionate about starting a business. And I wound up starting Ah, a sports business that I ran for three years in the technology space, but, uh, I found what I'm doing today through a consulting project. And I started working with the computer science and engineering schools at Duke University. Very focused. Are trying to understand why so many women or winds up putting computer science or engineering. And it was through that project that I became very passionate about trying to help courage women instead
Well, there are a lot of responsibilities and decisions that one has to make. Um, have from a for profit company. And now rewriting the code is a nonprofit company, um, on on the challenges, I would say, um, have done pretty well in engaging students. So you have to be very persistent and make sure that the students are getting value out of what we are offering our services. Um, and then we also partner with company on, Um, there is a huge sort shortage of talent in technology. Um, and, uh, some of the movie is, to be honest, are very genuine about wanting to very limited, and some of them aren't It was a passionate about it. So I really try it and frame picture of what we can do and how we can partner with warm. But being able to say that message on this can be very, very challenging. So we have to be a great persistence and trying and make sure that we are matching up Teoh. Um, the only the goals that the pope has. So you you have to be a very willing Teoh. Just keep trying to come back from your column. You can really benefit their objectives. So that seems a lot of persistence
Oh, well, what? I really remember that My job now is that I get to work with so many college students from your sincere friend Beverly Burton. No, we're also growing an international on, and that's very exciting. Full. Like what we have created, it is resonating with moving all over the world. The pleasant surprises are really being able to see how much you can impact a young person. Um, it's just so rewarding to feel like it was getting the support that they need is finding it who are organization. So that brings a lot of a lot of joy at being an entrepreneur. Uh, is a lot of hours. So we're small company, and we want to be very responsive to our students and our art Harris. So I probably work. Uh, I would say, on average, about 55 hours a week. Um, and for me, it's ah, it's a passion, You know, I get up until we get it morning, and I catch up on a model with students, which I don't meet at the time to do during the week. And I'm always feeling good about what I'm working on. So, uh, if you can find something where your your work is almost really becomes part of your life and it does feeling a separate box, I think that's really pretty good situation.
