So I did my bachelor's in electron ICS. Uh, so I graduated in 2009 and eso after my graduation, I figured I would prefer us after a job compared to harbor. Uh and then so 2009 was a time when cloud computing was picking up a lot of companies. They're going thio compromise the cloud and fast. So I was fortunate to get a job in a startup company in Commodore. They're into SAS application development. Kind of like Salesforce. So it's the company's Cardiss. I worked there for four years and my job was mostly, uh, application development on top of the platform. So it was good. It was a well paid job, but I was always curious about what's happening under the hood. How is this platform developed? How can I improve this platform? Um, so I was I thought I should, uh, playing more technical rule, like a platform are in developer rather than application developer. But at that point, I didn't have that opportunity, so I took a risk. Thio quit the job and I thought I should since I did electron ICS, I wanted Thio enhance my computer science fundamentals. So so I decided to come to the U. S. To take masters Hi. Joined University of Utah for information system Masters Information centers and then s O I. It was really flexible. Course, Andi. My focus was thio shop in my technical skills and comparisons fundamentals. So I was fortunate eso Professor Roger helped me to get the internship as soon as like landed here. That's part of my Project Capital project. So I worked with the startup in Salt Lake City as a full stack developer, which helped me to learn PHP and JavaScript full staff development. So my course was really awesome. I allowed my subjects purposes, were supportive and then, with the site present that I did, I got a real world exposure programming exposure. And then so that helped me to get my first job As soon as I graduated eso I got a job. A software engineer in inside sales dot com, the Utah based startup I've been working in the same company for last five years. Uh, it's been a rollercoaster, and I joined us a PHP developer than switch to front and back and, uh, well done. Different technologies. And so right, right now I feel satisfied with where I am in terms of material. That's the story
team. It's called Services Team Eso. Basically, the my primary job is to build features for customers. Eso my product manager would come with a requirement feature then, eh? So we have some front engineers back in engineers, data science engineers and we all sit together and come out of the plan on, like, how how to design this. And what are the estimates s o on on a day to day basis, I have tow program a lot. Uh, it could be a future. Or it could be a bug fix. You are like a tech Dept. Something we're trying to, uh, something carried over from our previous look. Eso engineering. And then I also need to help with help our customer success team if they have questions like after to build tools for them to make customers life easier. Um, and then basically working with people of different rules. Uh, like I have to help my teammates, but their stuff share knowledge and all that kind of and then we work in a large, uh, set up. So, like, we have two weeks friends. Eso we have We plan our work ahead. We have ah, sprint planning And then, like backlog grooming Thio estimator work then, uh yeah, that Z
eso. Like I said, my job is primarily programming. So the biggest thing is Thio use an i d. Which you're comfortable with. Eso I started off as a PHP developer, so I used to use PHP storm and then I had some nauseous e used Web storm on then. Now I'm working in Golan, so I used Poland. Alright, Via scored, uh and then, um so we also use AWS for infrastructure. Um, then I use a lot of command line for get and, uh, like, writing script. All that. Uh yeah. And then we use that lesson tools for our don't Gerard and confident and all that. But yeah, I finally I d yeah.
