Absolutely. Yeah. So, um, I was an actor for several years, and that was actually what I had initially gotten my degree in was performing arts and film. But I knew from a young age that I eventually wanted to make video games, and I really was drawn to the fact that a video game is almost like a technological performance. So, uh, wanted to also get into computer science at some point and hopes to be able to eventually become a video game producer and s Oh, my second round of schooling was mostly in computer science about a year and a half of traditional computer science school, and then a boot camp is well before the boot camp. I also did restaurant management alongside acting, which was great for business.
So, uh, it is a small company at Stack and Solutions, and so they need a lot of logistic planning and operations toe take place. And so I do help with that at an executive level quite a bit, with helping with sort of sales and business stuff, on top of sometimes leading a project as well and acting as a project manager for other smaller companies. Usually we specialize in bringing up small companies from the ground and kind of giving them everything that they need to get started. And so I talked to the client a lot any time. I am managing a project as well as my team that is actually building any of the software as well. And I I would say the biggest part of my job is definitely communication and making sure that everybody is communicating with each other properly. So I would say that the priorities in dealing with pain points would have to be first identifying all of the pain points that exists. That can be a difficult endeavor. That, in and of itself, is sort of a pain point, because recognizing a problem that needs a solution is not always easy, especially when you're not entirely sure where the root of the problem might be coming from might take some uncovering. Um, another pain point would definitely be encouraging any staff for team members. Thio use all of the tools and documentation that is provided for them and making sure that they are interested in wanting to both learn and train properly. Um, so getting getting team members motivated and encouraged can be a difficult thing. And last but not least, I would say that sometimes it is difficult. Thio know exactly what a client or customer wants, especially with the small companies that we tend to work with. And that's largely because they don't necessarily know how to articulate technically what it is that they want as much as what their vision is. So it can be a challenge to try to make sure that we're uh, marrying the two and, uh, ensuring they're getting the technology aspects of what they want in their vision, Some strategies with dealing with us again, communication is always key, constantly checking in all three of those issues that I mentioned, The biggest solution is probably going to be communication, whether it be with your team, your management or your clients. Another big piece of that is going to be organization, uh, for both yourself and enabling organization for others and giving them the power to feel like they can organize what they have properly so that as you give them things, they feel that they can successfully organize what you giveth. Um
So, um, I do hold actually a couple of jobs. One of them is a little bit more technical, and in that particular job, it is mostly Web applications. And so that will be pretty much any of your kind of Web based languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You kind of have to know the basics of those three to be able to do much of anything in a application. A Web application. Um, I work sometimes with C sharpened dot net core or dot net framework. Um, even cold fusion, sometimes on some of the legacy code at my job that has existed for many years and is overdue for an update but in the books for an update eventually. But we do have to make sure that the the legacy code still works, and that would include some cold fusion as well. So, um, beyond that, I would say just kind of basic tools that you might use as a project manager. Like, say, azure Dev, see cops or anything related to scrum or agile is very important, and so that could be can band boards that can be weak ease that also kind of plays into proper documentation and communication, and so that is also a paramount. Part of my role is making sure that the communication tools are working effectively.
