well. I was inspired to start my own training institute because I really loved helping and mentoring others. When I was at college when I was at Wellesley College, I was always very active in community groups and my senior year at my university. I took a leadership role, and I was the president of Misla, which is the Latina support organization there on campus. And I learned there that I really, really enjoyed helping other people on DSO once I started my professional career, Uh, you know, post graduation, I still had a lot of wonderful experiences mentoring and helping others who were joining our company on DSO. Luckily, when you start a school like Savio, which offers coding training and career support, you your job is literally to help other people. So creating this organization named Savio has allowed me really to make my passion, um, my full time work. So that's how I see my career trajectory, and I'm very fortunate to be able to help people on a daily basis
different programs since March of 2020. We are 100% live remote. So just like this, people put on their headsets and they log into a zoom. And they work with our senior instructors and other students together as a group s so people can decide if they want to do that on a full time basis, which is Monday through Friday, all day 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. If you do that intensive schedule, you get to start looking for a job within three months, so it's a very efficient solution. The other thing. We have other options, which can be part time, where you could do it nights and weekends for six months, which is twice as long, or if someone wants a part time schedule that all day Monday, all day Wednesday. That is also an option. So we have many options for students that want to become full time full stack Web developers
Yeah, So that's something that we take very seriously. It's something that my co founder, our CTO, Gregorio Rojas, and myself constantly have to do a lot of work. We have to communicate with employers on a weekly basis toe, understand what they need in the new technology workforce they're looking to hire. So, for example, Amazon just released a new initiative, and they want thousands of cloud practitioners across the globe. Um, when you look at other companies like Facebook who engineered and who designed react, which is a JavaScript library, we have incorporated, react and tow our training. Um, so it's about constantly understanding what the market demands. And that's a weekly task that my co founder and I have Andi then saying Okay, how many jobs are available in that space and then working with team members to design new curriculum or toe update new curriculum to make sure that the people who are coming up our program have the skills that are in the most demand? Uh huh.
