sure. So I started off. I was in Marines for five years from 4007. Um, from there I went to school to study biochemistry. I was thinking about joint, uh, corner pharmacy school. So that was my plan. Um, I got a job as a pharmacy Tech and I I realized I didn't like the profession too much. Um, it wasn't for me, so I decided to pursue another career. Um, after that, I got a job as automation tech at a veterans hospital. Um, and I always like text. So once I started doing that job, I wanted dig a little deeper into software, so I found a coding boot camp for veterans, Um, called cold person in Chicago. Eso I attended that. And then, uh, I did that full time for four months. I then I graduated, and then I got the current position I met. Now,
So at a center, I was brought in, um, as a data engineer. Um, so some of the responsibilities When when I finished orientation, I got picked up by, uh, the Verizon team. So I joined the engineering team for Verizon. That was that's currently my client. Um, I actually got brought brought in to help develop a internal application to build the front end for a application that the CEO and top officials at Verizon would use every day to track the track distribution of the five g data. So, um, we did that. And then currently, I am not working with the data visualization team. Um, and we're pretty much just, um, extracting all the data they have, and then we're putting it into a software called Tableau. And then we're like, we're building that to visualize it to the CEO and other top officials at a Verizonso top priorities at this. Currently, right now, it's pretty much just parts through the data on day, then imported to tableau and then build a dashboard interactive dashboard for the user. Um, so that's my main priority at at this moment. Um, some of the strategies I'm using is just try to clean a date. Oppa's much as possible. Um, mhm. The more data you import to tap to the current software I'm using tableau, the slower it gets, so can only handle a certain quarries at a time, So we try to clean it as much as possible. Um, and then dealing with challenges was probably, um, learning tableau from scratch because I didn't get trained on tableau in a coding boot camps. It was completely new technology. Um, so that was probably the biggest challenge. Is trying toe wrap my head around how tableau works
sure. So my my current role, Um, I used mostly sequel and tableau and then click Sense, which is another data visualization, uh, software. Um, prior to this project, I was actually using react JavaScript and, um, and sequel. So I brought I got brought in it, like as a side to do a side project. And then now that we finished that I got integrated toe into a team.
