and I was in, uh, studying an undergrad. I actually did not study self for engineering. I said he'd long theory in English, and after working in film production for about two years, I decided that I want to switch careers. And I was interested in software engineering, mainly because I wanted my job to be very mentally challenging and to force me to learn, uh, like a daily ongoing basis. I tried some software engineering on the side, through, like, their websites differently. Books that I found Teoh introduced me to the basics of Ruby. But through the first language, I learned really enjoyed that work and so eventually left my job in film, went to a software engineer in blue Camp, Um, after four months, started job hunting and thought my first job myself or engineer.

So I am a senior software engineer at a company called Cruz Cruz is a self driving car company, and the app that I work on is a data visualisation app. So basically helps our users, which are our fellow engineers. Visualize with the car is seeing and thinking when a drive on the road still show things like predictions for what other cars were glow or where productions will go kind of visualize is all this data that are algorithms under the hood are running, And so my job is very front and focused. So, um oh, yeah, I work on a team of about 10 engineers and work pretty beast by pretty standard work hours, 40 hours a week, 95 ish on. And I would say I do not spend much time traveling and, um, just because of Corona Virus. M, exclusively working from home with the moment but previously worked, went into my San Francisco office

so I because I'm working individualization for a Web application. The tools that I'm using are primarily job script centric, so we use react as a library for front end. Our back end is a note, which is another JavaScript framework. Um, and I've had to learn kind of very big 60 plus plus just because the coat that runs on our cars isn't C plus plus a story is visualizing that data being recorded in a file and playing back in our Web browser. Most of my work is in job script.
