That's a great question. So I grew up in San Diego. Um, I'm baseball, and I went to a junior college here and played baseball there. And, um, you know, it was kind of tough keeping upgrades and playing, too. But I was able to do that. Uh, after that, I went to University of Texas at Tyler and play there. And, um, I really just, uh When I graduated there, I moved back to San Diego and ended up getting a job as a ballet slash bellman in the hotel here in San Diego. Just, uh, through a connection that I had with professors. And, um, I didn't like that job. I thought that I, you know, I could do better. And love actually didn't let go from my job. Um, and it was unemployed for a while, but I sort of remember that, you know, I took a marketing class in college, and I really liked some of the stuff that they were going over eso I kept applying, kept applying by me, trying to find some kind of marketing position, ended up getting a working assistant job and kind of raised through the ranks of the marketing coordinator. And now I'm a marketing manager for, uh, adviser here in San Diego.
So you know, I work typically around 7 30 to 4. Um, lovely in my position. You with hours of very flexible and right now, everything. People are my company in ways we're home. Um, but, you know, I I throw I guess my career is it's developed. I really didn't want to be someone who was only focused on one area of marketing and I was afraid of pigeonholed myself like social media or email. So I tried to keep a really a broad stoked When I was, uh I was no learning. And so right now I'm sort of managing the, uh, our analytics like so any, like, marketing analytics of do on our end website advantage. It's just ensuring that we're increasing in website visitors. Conversion analysis is a big thing for us. So when a user it's the website. Are they you know, subscribing and or ah, you know, where they going to our contact form that asked questions are following up with those people. So that's a big thing on lookout and the path of the website to create conversions. Um, another thing that we do is that I work on his writing and do a lot of, like, technical coffee writing to surround the problems that we have. So, um, that's ah, super important. And then I do a little bit with CEO as well. So who's making sure that our key words are optimized or, uh, you know, uh uh uh oh. Looks like you were optimized for the traffic circles that we're looking for on then. Probably the two biggest things that I work on our campaign creation. So, uh, wherever we launched new products, I will, um, no, I'll work on the strategy, you know, working on the materials and channels that we're going to use Teoh to promote the new product launch of the new feature launch. Then I work a lot with our sales team as well, you know, ensuring that you know, they're using Salesforce, which is, uh, you know, our platform or custom. Listen, shit manager basically, um, to manage leads. Teoh, keep up with our email lists. Um, so lots of cellasene
were we Last year we were working on rolling out new functionality and salesforce, and the goal of that project was basically for us to track our products and sales boards. So, for example, of becoming onboard before there are five divisions and each division has no a couple of problems related to it, um, used We were using Salesforce to track our client base, but we couldn't drill into our client by client boarding in which products they were using. So, um, I worked on building out a new feature and salesforce and rolling out sales team. Um, part of the problem that I ran into with that was, uh, no understanding of the new functionality Is the adoption in general. Um, so you know, I did as much as I could as far excommunication, but they were still, you know, hesitancy and terms of questions. And you talk about change management and some of the things that you go through in school. And, you know, it's it's so funny how some of those themes are crop up in real ways when you get in the workforce so eventually yes, So I you know, I end up creating our sales strategy meetings where if we have new features or functionality going out on, we talk about it, then any marketing things out? You know, when the updates that go on and he's segmenting that he's talked about discussed, called, Yeah, So, um, that's That's basically how Clinton example You know, some of the challenges that I've, uh, how I was able to mitigate them for future.management is big. Uh, you know, you gotta be able to balance five different projects at one time. Um, you know, I I would say that writing is also important. One of the biggest things that I see probably on a daily basis is attention to detail and proof reading. Um, you know, if you're sending out an email, Teoh all of your client base, you know, and something's wrong. You know, for the most part, people probably know who sent that email. So if you mess it up and you know it doesn't look good, um, for me, it's a analytics is important. You know, uh, reviewing data and be able to speak knows full insights from the data. It is extremely important. So I would say that stepped on one and then probably one of the men wants to is just being able to work with people, um, building our or building trust. And then, um, ultimately being able Teoh process with, um it's timely manner on and being able to hash out any concerns or issues between the zoo without work. Also,
