So, I was originally born in California and I have lived in California, Florida, and Massachusetts, here in Utah, and I've spent most of my time here in Utah. So, as far as what kinds of things I enjoy, I like reading and writing, I like to cook quite a bit, and I like to play a lot of tabletop board games with my family.
So, English was my original degree that I graduated from the University of Utah, about six years ago. The workload was not too bad at the time. Obviously, a lot of reading is involved so you definitely have to give yourself enough time to be able to complete all of those tasks, but if you enjoy reading and writing, I'd say the workload is pretty manageable for that particular degree.
So, I wish that I had structured my degree a little bit more, had a little bit more focused when I was going through the courses rather than just picking things that fit into my schedule or perhaps seemed interesting at the time. So, originally, I probably should had taken more advantage of the advisory system here at the University of Utah. So, it's a very loose degree. There are a lot of options, a lot of ways to pursue it and I think I probably did not spend enough time structuring that particular degree as I should have. So, I would have done that differently.
