hi my name is Amir Lewis I am a second year PhD student at the university of Utah I am in the clinical and translational epidemiology is the program a little bit about myself I was born in my family and I immigrated here when I was really young on many things that I love to do involved the outdoorsy arena I love to Klein also love to ski and I love to do a lot of hiking this will be my first community involvement at the university **** fighters about he ate them

my educational background is in NASA's public health epidemiology from the university of Toledo I moved here to work for women's health research lab you kind of see my career trajectory as also being in the private sector and academia not really sure yet but we'll we'll see as as as time progresses my educational background is in masses of public health and if you need me allergy and by the case and I kinda seen my future as a cross road between academia and research in the private sector on a I couldn't tell you how I got to where I am today but I can tell you that Wallace love research and I wanted to choose a field that will allow me to conduct my own research in the future and possibly have my own lab

I'm pretty passionate about women's rights and women's health rates I am very passionate about young girls receiving the best education that they could receive I'm pretty passionate about world peace I myself come from war torn country so I will forever advocate for piece I'm also passionate about people feeling very included in right whichever surrounding the end up in on what I'm all about inclusivity should about diversity I think the more diverse communities we have the better lives together yeah so these are some of the things that I'm passionate about and obviously very passionate about education for myself as well yeah thank you I'm pretty passionate about women's on right depression and by young girls receiving education on making a world form for themselves where they feel safe and feel cultured and feel motivated and determined to be whatever they want to be a live once a pretty passionate about world peace I myself I'm from eight war torn country on so I will forever advocate for you know the human race to laugh and co exist together as as one human race thank you
