About us

  Simprints is a social enterprise developing a rugged, mobile biometric scanner that can sync wirelessly with mobile phones. Our goal is allow health workers to access patient medical records anytime, anywhere, improving the delivery of healthcare and saving lives even in some of the toughest environments on the planet. Simprints is working closely with engineers and partners in Bangladesh and the UK to build and field test this technology.

• Developed group into a 40+ member student organization with a 10-person executive board,   raising over $25,000 in project funds and leading over 35 students on international projects• Created water filtration projects that served over 100 households in 3 Nicaraguan communities.   Project won 2nd place in MIT’s 2008 Millennium Campus Challenge• Trained and led student field teams working with communities on the border of Haiti and the   Dominican Republic. Designed water access plan alongside town council, installing 300 ft. well    pump and water chlorination units. Built GIS data system tracking patient info for community   health workers.
