I was hired as the Product analyst at Backcountry.com on the Product Strategy team for A/B testing, evangelizing and educating teams about testing best practices. Eventually, opportunities opened up to be involved with the Web Analytics implementation for the sites, for both desktop and mobile versions, which was a great learning opportunity. In this role, I also &#x2022;	Segmented and analyzed data in depth and found answers to conundrums, to make smart decisions and product enhancements &#x2022;	Helped teams derive value from the data in Adobe Site catalyst and Discover, built dashboards and comprehensive reports. &#x2022; Implemented Custom variables and events &#x2022;	Ensured the reports in site Catalyst are not broken, manually updated data using SAINT, set processing rules and communicated with developers on tagging &#x2022;	Worked with the different product and platform teams (Backcountry.com, competitivecyclist.com, dogfunk.com) to spearhead quality A/B tests and ran it using Optimizely. &#x2022;	Performed in-depth analysis on the Site Catalyst data using Excel Report Builder &#x2022;	Analyzed conversion on the site and identified different ways to improve Conversion Rate optimization and Landing Page optimization &#x2022;	Worked closely with the Mobile team and setup metrics and variables in Omniture.

  Backcountry.com began in 1996 with two guys, a stack of avalanche beacons, and a garage in Park City, Utah. Our roots were humble, and we've grown since then, but our vision is still clear: to provide the best outdoor gear—and to be the best at doing it.
