Worked on a very challenging project at Allegiance. The goal of the data science team is to get, grow, and keep our clients, and to do the same for our clients and their customers. The aim was to design a front-line module that helps Spotlight(Allegiance DataMining Product) to predict patterns for a specific group. Worked on the POC(Proof Of Concept) and designed an algorithm for getting subset of similar customers . SpotLight will now run on this subset to find the pattern. This would be useful for the front line manager who are not well versed with Analytics. This makes the pattern very relevant and different for each customer which finally helps in improving NPS (Net Promoter Score). The algorithm was written in R.

Worked as a TA (Java) with Prof. Mike Boyle, for both graduates and undergraduates. The task mainly involved understanding students need, grading assignments, solving doubts etc. Created survey sheet to take feedback which was appreciated by the Prof and helped in future planning of the course.

Created a new website (www.liveprepared.com) using PHP, CSS, SQL, JS. Was involved in end-to-end development of       the website right from requirement gathering, development, deployment, documentation to testing. This was used by   Blue Chip for their new business with National Geographic. The site is currently used by end users.


• 6+ years of experience with Java, SQL, PL/SQL. Expertise in distributed query performance tuning by using Explain Plan, Hints provided by oracle. Experience with on Struts, MVC framework. Worked on Weblogic.• Worked on design and implementation of deployable framework (in form of EAR file) for the application, Expert on writing Integration Adapters using JMS and ORACLE AQ.• Successfully upgraded Amdocs Cramer from 6.2 to 8.0 for Telia at Stockholm. This required thorough knowledge of Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, Unix. On average, saved 1 hour/user/day which resulted in an annual saving of $1.5 million for 100 users.• Created numerous reports by writing complex SQL queries using Rank, Dense Rank, Avg, DDL,DML statements, created and analyzed AWR reports, data ware house knowledge.• Managed a team of 8, providing technical support, analyzing and prioritizing issues based on its business severity.• Held meeting with clients to understand the business needs and translated business requirements to technical requirements, quantified risks and established alternative solutions.
