Nick has experience supporting the office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Inspector General (IG) in performing IT risk assessments, IT audit remediation, and other IT security controls and risk consulting. Nick has experience in IT audit to include performing different levels of FISCAM based audits, supporting the IT portion of Financial Statement Audits, detailed FISMA assessments utilizing NIST criteria, and SSAE16s for agency service providers. Nick worked with various government agencies across the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Nick aslo has experience with creating fully automated Dashboards in MS Excel to foster project management for various government agencies, as well as creating customizable system reports for project management. Internally, Nick has worked on streamlining labor intensive processes through the use of automation, and was vital in improving internal processes for the sake of efficiency.

University of Utah Health Care recently ranked first in the nation in a prestigious national study. The University Health System Consortium’s 2010 Quality and Accountability Study compared 98 of the nation’s top academic medical centers and ranked them based on core quality measures, patient safety indicators, mortality rates, re-admission rates, and patient satisfaction scores.
