webMethods (Nasdaq: WEBM) was an enterprise software company, acquired by Software AG, focused on application integration, business process integration and B2B partner integration. I was a founding member of Financial Services Business Unit, which was formed to focus on promoting the company’s infrastructure software products (for wholesale/retail banking, securities and insurance) to clients such as American Express, Bank of America, Fidelity and Wells Fargo. Reported directly to Vice President of Solutions Marketing and together we developed product roadmap and subsequently executed a marketing and sales support program that drove growth in this business unit to over $25MM in revenues in 2002.
