Full Operational and P/L responsibility ($20M+) for the company’s Municipal and Commercial operations in the greater Kansas City, Missouri metropolitan area. This responsibility encompasses operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts for central energy plants and other utility systems owned by institutional, municipal and commercial customers in the region.Turned around a previously poor-performing business unit by leading (in a one year period) organizational, financial, and operational change resulting:EBITDA up 250% Fixed costs down 37%Plant efficiency up 5%Sustainability is a cornerstone of Veolia's philosophy of resourcing the world.   I challenged our team at Veolia KC's district energy plant to achieve "Zero Waste to Landfill" certification by diverting greater than 90% of our waste from landfill (reduce, reuse, recycle, reclaim).  We became the fourth facility in the KC area and, to our knowledge, the only utility in the state of Missouri or Kansas to do so.  This demanded a herculean effort and did not improve our bottom-line but our team continues to "do the right thing, because it is the right thing to do."Engaged in District Energy; Combined Heat and Power systems; Steam Generation and Distribution; Chilled Water Generation and Distribution; Central Utility Plants; Energy Recovery Systems; Energy Storage systems; Renewable Energy; Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency projects.Selected to Missouri’s Leadership Class of 2015 by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce.

-	 Turnaround assignment to reverse the direction of the state’s largest industrial facility (1.3 million square feet) with $50M+ annual revenue, 20-person staff, 100+ industrial/commercial tenants with absentee 2nd generation owners. -	Implemented (from the ground up) an organizational structure, preventative maintenance program, inventory-control system, tenant communication process, and codified process for evaluated and executing construction projects.  -       As an example of the above programs, we identified that the fire alarm/sprinkler system was inoperative and that the electric bus work was operating significantly overloaded.-	Consulted the owner/manager's in the completion of 12 construction projects up to $7M, each completed under-budget and ahead of schedule - including the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) new Pacific Region Headquarters and the state’s largest canopy-designed photovoltaic (solar) installation.-     Left position when the facility operations were restored to a sustainable level.
