The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES) provided academic, programmatic, and research support for all things related to entrepreneurship within the business school for faculty, students, and alumni.Responsible for financial and strategic planning and implementation of programmatic and course support to faculty, students, and alumni with a $2M budget and staff of up to 10. Initially, I did most of this myself - and I great a team to provide services on an ongoing basis. Our office provided the following (among other things):• Liaison to the start-up and investor community (Angel, Venture Capital, and Founders)• Provided advice and connections to alumni entrepreneurs (investors, CEO peers, executive hires)• Personally developed network of service providers and a system to capture them for the school• Developed processes and SOPs for the center and shared best practices with peers• Coordination of entrepreneurial summer internship program (internships) including employerrelations, job creation, and student referral• Developed curriculum for 20+ courses in entrepreneurship, including cases to be taught in each class
