I taught a discussion-driven seminar course (10 sections over 6 semesters) to promote critical thinking, understanding, and analysis of important social, cultural, and global issues. I also supervised 10 teaching assistants.


I planned, coordinated, and executed a retention initiative program for 2,500 first-year college students that increased reported college preparedness by 20%.


I wrote and administered a $27,076, 1-year federal grant designed to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in higher education. I coordinated all program logistics for a week-long camp and supervised eight resident advisors.
