Building the world's most intelligent freight marketplace. I helped our Operations Tools group launch our internal brokerage tools, including our load board and load booking suite. I launched the Uber Freight Marketplace Dynamics team, focusing on optimizing how the brokerage acquires and fulfills freight opportunities, as well as owning algorithmic pricing for the brokerage.
Building a research focused, analytically driven group of data professionals. The Data Science & Analytics team is responsible for pre-feature development research and feasibility experimentation, as well as post-facto analysis to determine the efficacy and quality of complex data features and products.
In addition to carrying a full graduate courseload, I currently teach undergraduate physics lab. I research and present informative lab lectures, as well as grade quizzes and labs for nearly 60 students. I am also in charge of organizing and maintaining a grade system for my students throughout the semester, as well as handling the administrative tasks associated with the class.
Graduated with a 3.2 (3.65 Physics) GPA. Awards include:Michigan Merit Award (2004-2005) and the Xavier Presidential Scholarship (2004-2008). Awarded a Hauck Research Grant twice (Summer 2005, Fall 2007), as well as being a Hauck Scholar. Helped to organize and found the Xavier Club Football Team and was elected game captain three times by teammates.
