While continuing to work at Endurance International Group, I have been given the opportunity to manage the West and South Region Network team members.  As the Network Operations Team manager for these regions, I work with my direct reports and other teams in the organization to build and maintain a robust and secure network.

Voice and data networking company and ISP that specialized in Avaya IP Office Telephone Systems, CC TV security, and low voltage cabling (including fiber optics).  Also provided ISP Services to companies.; Responsibilities included network management and project management for cabling, telephony, and networking; purchasing and supply management for low voltage cabling.Wrote and developed a web based custom real estate information system for Avaya IP Office.Moved Network Operations Center for the company to new location with new bandwidth providers. As a student at the University of Utah, I did my best to choose courses that I felt gave real world experiences and or skills.  Having worked in the Information Systems industry before attending the Masters Program, I knew my weakness and wanted to strengthen and broaden my skill set as much as I could during this time. Much of the program repeated skills and information learn that had been learned in the Undergraduate program for information systems or work environment so it was more difficult to find classes that were not repeating things I already knew.   I was able to branch out and learn more about data mining and some of the trends in industry information systems industry in general.  I also was able to take a few classes on Forensics and Network security that I feel gave me new insight and skills.


My time at the Marriot School of Management gave me a basic business background as well as Information Systems background.  I took classes in Visual Basic Programming and Database design in addition to the traditional Accounting, organization management, statics, and other business classes that were required.I feel that the school gave me a good base from where I could start my career in Information Systems  and  I enjoyed my experience while attending the Marriot School of Management.
