*Provide age-specific nutrition assessments and care plans for the psychiatric and developmentally delayed population aged 2-19 years.*Conduct a weekly Nutrition Group educating patients on topics surrounding healthy eating.*Calculate energy, protein, and fluid requirements while considering and evaluating lab data, nutrient status, and drug therapies*Developed and implemented a specialized feeding team to address food selectivity in the pediatric autism population

I conducted a thorough needs assessment of all aspects of nutrition practices in order to provide specific recommendations for overall improvement in the quality of nutrition care provided to the juveniles.


As a Hospice Dietitian, I was available to work with patients and families who experienced challenges with end of life nutrition issues. I was the nutrition expert  contact for the Interdisciplinary Team if an individualized nutrition care plan was indicated.

I utilized the Nutrition Care Process to provide nutritional care to patients in a long term care facility with a subacute unit as well. While collaborating with all members of the Interdisciplinary Team, I monitored and evaluated the effectiveness of nutrition interventions.
