I currently oversee the engineering organization at Tumblr. Teams including content intelligence, product development, machine learning, data science, security engineering, mobile, infrastructure and content delivery, and others. These cross-functional teams are responsible for all elements of the Tumblr product, and facilitating rapid development responding to the needs of millions of users.The security engineering team is a separate domain within my organization that focuses on a wholistic security approach of our corporate and production infrastructures, security of the Tumblr native and web applications, and endpoint security of all deployed devices on our network.The responsibilities of my current role include budgeting, development forecasts, recruiting and hiring, technical direction, conflict resolution, enabling professional growth of all members of my organization, managing interactions with Tumblr/Yahoo/Oath leadership, maintaining relationships with third party vendors and guiding the overall roadmap based on business and revenue goals. I am also heavily involved in corporate-wide initiatives focused on increasing diversity, eliminating bias in hiring and recruiting practices, and developing an inclusive engineering culture.

Managed teams of remote engineers located all over the world. Oversaw the development and deployment of HIPAA compliant medical records management systems, security engineering, as well as maintenance and client-support operations engineering.Oversaw development and deployment of internal IT infrastructure, as well as client-facing cloud hosting infrastructure.
