Served as an At-Large Delegate and Alternate Delegate over the course of two years on behalf of Illinois to the National House of Delegates of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). The House of Delegates is the Policy Making Body of the APTA. The APTA is the face of our profession and works on the front lines to better the profession.

Led efforts to coordinate leadership and mentorship programming for current and rising leaders in the organization.


I represented the Chicago District at the Illinois Physical Therapy Association State Assembly Annual Meeting in which agenda and direction of the State Board was determined.


I led efforts for the development and the delivery of presentations to undergrad Pre-Physical Therapy groups and Doctoral Physical Therapy programs throughout Illinois on the importance of professionalism, profession participation and advocacy.


Represented Early Career Clinicians in the Physical Therapy Profession at the State Board Level. In the time I launched the initiative 'New Connections', which coordinated events for those in the profession from different backgrounds and with different experiences and it promoted networking and professional advocacy.
