Intertek

Don directed laboratory operations for consumer product testing labs that support Good Housekeeping magazine.  He was the administrator of venerable Good Housekeeping Seal.  Hee also developed orginal content for magazine based on testing of consumer goods including appliances, electronics, textiles, etc.  He served as national media spokesperson on matters of consumer eductaion and protection and advocated on behalf of consumers on matters of product safety.

Directed  a large team of technical professionals responsible for testing appliances, children's products, tools and power equipment, apparel and footwear, exercise machines, and sporting goods. Supported publication of test results in Consumer Reports magazine.  Designed laboratories and  test equipment, and developed and approved test protocols.
