About us

  Lucid Software Ltd. provides software solutions and services to the Nondestructive Testing (NDT) industry.  Lucid has expertise in working with a range of NDT techniques including Ultrasound, X-Ray, Eddy Current, Ground Penetrating Radar and Impact Echo. Lucid offers 2 product platforms Muulam and Kovid and develops custom software too. 
Established in 2000, Lucid is managed by a group of highly qualified professionals, committed to providing quality solutions in NDT Software. Lucid Software is actively involved in Research and Development with leading scientific and educational institutions.
Lucid Software is headquartered in Chennai, India where our Development Centre is located. We have offices in Singapore and the US.

Lucid provides software solutions across the entire NDT lifecycle. This includes software for the different steps involved in testing. All of Lucid’s offering are geared towards enhancing productivity and effectiveness of testing. 

Kovid Imaging is a decision support system in the field of NDT specially designed as world’s first Multi technique and Multi-supplier NDT software. It provides the complete solution to meet the challenges of data acquision, analysis, storage and maintenance. The software can acquire the data from an instrument, process the data with application specific tools, support decision making/make decisions, and then present or store/archive.

I am helping design and implement build processes and tools to consume EC2's platform as a service (PaaS).


Designed and implemented infrastructure as a service (IaaS). Replaced a hardware based load balancing and ssl termination service with a software based one. This allowed us to scale 10x capacity for 10x less cost.


Managed and maintained all production applications as well all servers (5000+).


Implemented a data classification standard. Defined a security policy so that developers could have a clear set of requirements that they needed to adhere to while coding. Designed and implemented a centralized account management service for system and service authentication/authorization.


Maintained and monitored the intrusion prevention and intrusion detection implementation (IPS/IDS). Implemented and maintained corporate anti-virus solution. Managed enterprise proxy solution.
