Reviews and continuously improves the organizational structure and governance for prioritization of technology initiatives, manages third-party providers and partnerships, and directs employee hiring, development, and compensation programs to ensure the highest levels of performance and service. Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, operation, and support of information technology services, and for establishing an encompassing informatics vision to infuse innovation and strategic differentiation into Covance's product offerings. Recruited a new team, developed a ground-breaking technology platform, created the first software-as-a-service offering in the company’s history, and signed landmark agreements with several major pharmaceutical companies to provide strategic oversight of their entire global portfolio of clinical trials. The platform, known as Xcellerate, integrates, analyzes and visualizes clinical trial data in near real time to mitigate risk, protect patient safety, and drive better and faster clinical trial results. Served as a member of Covance’s Global Operating Committee and the Covance Science Council.
