Defined the vision and strategy for Cisco’s operations, leading to the 2012 creation of Cisco’s Global Business Services organization for customer ordering experience and employee experience. Created a business case for a global shared services operation, leading to expansion and centralization to improve performance and productivity.


Recruited by the COO for a role reporting to the CFO, building, leading and developing a new operations team with company-wide responsibilities in defining the operations for Cisco’s new business models and business architecture. Led a cross-functional team for a select set of cloud offerings including Pay as You Grow (PAYG) and UCS product line. Launched Cisco’s Commerce Workspace (CCW), an intuitive, scalable platform for clients to engage with Cisco throughout the purchasing process. Increased client-driven autobooking from 40% to 85% while expanding markets and segments.


Focused on continued expansion of a closely-held start-up firm specializing in innovations in solar energy through high-performance photovoltaic products. Developed cost-effective thermal solutions to improve performance of solar modules. Rapidly acquired expertise in licensing to negotiate an agreement with Solon AG, one of the top ten global solar industry leaders.
